| 4.2 | Added a browser like the one in iTunes. Browse CDs by Genre, Artist and Album. Custom Fields: Possibility to add user specific fields with its own table column and exporting functionality. Custom fields can be formatted as strings, numbers, dates or boolean (Yes/No). Importing CD Remote Programs files and text files (e.g. comma-separated). iCDc can now calculate the correct magic number so that the Audio CD is mounted with correct track names when inserted. Added new search function to search for CDs or tracks. Added possibility to add artwork to the CD. This property is however not shared with iTunes. Updated to iTunes 4 compatibility. Track BPM is now shared with iTunes (existing iCDc BPM will be stored as iTunes BPM when saved). View Options added: It is now possible to hide or show columns. | 4.0 | iCDc 4.0 is written using the Cocoa programming environment. This makes it a lot faster than previous Realbasic versions. You will notice this when opening the file, sorting, exporting etc. etc. Added possibility to edit several CDs at the same time. Great if you want to clean up in your library and make sure all CDs from the same artist look the same. iCDc 4.0 store the TOC information for the CD so track length can be shown. This means that you can do freedb queries without the need of the CD in the drive. Added BPM (beat per minute) field for tracks. Excellent if you're in the DJ business. Find panel with find/replace for most fields. Copy / Paste: You can now select CDs in the list and copy them and paste them into another *.cidb file. |
