Spotlight Integration
iCDc includes a Spotlight meta-data importer. Two formats are supported: the standard CD Info.cidb and a Audio CD.albm format. Since spotlight cannot index deep into a file and refer to several entities within a document, the CD Info.cidb importer will only import some information.If you want your entire library indexed by spotlight, select Create Spotlight Cache Files. This will generate a single file for each CD in your CD Info.cidb and save it into ~/Library/Caches/Metadata/iCDc/ where they will be indexed by Spotlight. Each file contains information about a single CD and a reference to the CD Info.cidb file it is included in. iCDc will try to locate the CD Info.cidb file when opening a *.albm file and highlight it in the library.
Please note that iCDc will not automatically update the individual *.albm files when saving the CD Info.cidb, so if you have made changes to CDs, you will need to export them again to the Caches folder. You can export only selected CDs.
