ImportingiCDc can import the following kind of files:
When importing, iCDc will check the current file for existing copies of CDs, first by comparing a unique disc id calculated from the track lengths of a CD. If no match is found, iCDc will compare lengths of CDs to see if there are CDs with the same length (in seconds). Finally comparing Artist and Album name. If a match is found, iCDc will ask you to identify it (is it really a duplicate? If not you can add a new copy). If it is a duplicate, you will be asked if you want to replace the current one, or leave the existing CD. When importing from the iTunes Library.xml, iCDc will group all tracks with the same Album name and Disc Number to the same CD. Make sure your tags are correct in iTunes! When importing a CD Remote Programs file, no track lengths will be imported because they are not stored in the file. |
