    Adding CDs

    In the preferences, make sure "Add to library" is selected. Then simply insert the CD into the drive while your CD library is open. iCDc can automatically download information about the CD from the freedb service. For more information about freedb and downloading information, see "Downloading information from freedb" and "Searching freedb"

    To specify what action should take place when an unknown CD is added to the library, open Preferences. Possible options are:

  • Add to library Adds the CD to the library
  • Get track names Downloads information from freedb.
  • Show Edit window Opens up the CD in a separate window.
  • Do nothing Doh. Does nothing.
  • Eject immediately Ejects the CD after other options have been perfomed.
